Some delish spring treats to pick up at the market

Strawberries
: Packed with compounds that help your intestinal system detoxify, including free radical-fighting vitamin C.

Asparagus:
The spears are great for skin and support your kidney and lymphatic systems. Dip in olive oil with lemon juice and crushed garlic.

Rhubarb: This veggie (it's not a fruit!) contains inulin, a prebiotic to support healthy gut bacteria. Roast it along with other root vegetables like parsnips, carrots and sweet potatoes.

Artichokes: Helps the intestines detoxify and has cancer-fighting flavonols. 

Apricots: Loaded with beta carotene and keeps out invading bacteria, UV light and toxins. Bake them with cinnamon, yum!
